1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Stained Glass Project Inc's website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services Description

Stained Glass Project Inc provides custom stained glass design, fabrication, restoration, and installation services. All projects are custom-made and require consultation, design approval, and deposit before commencement.

3. Project Process & Payments

3.1 Consultation & Design Phase

• Initial consultations may be subject to consultation fees
• Design concepts require client approval before fabrication
• Design changes after approval may incur additional charges

3.2 Payment Structure

• 50% deposit required to begin fabrication
• 40% payment due upon project completion before installation
• 10% final payment due upon satisfactory installation
• All deposits are non-refundable once fabrication begins

4. Project Timeline

Project completion times vary based on complexity, size, and current workload. While we provide estimated timelines, stained glass artistry requires careful craftsmanship and cannot be rushed. Delays may occur due to material availability, complexity, or unforeseen circumstances.

5. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations before design approval: Full refund of deposit
• Cancellations after design approval but before fabrication: 50% refund of deposit
• Cancellations after fabrication begins: No refund of deposit
• Custom glass orders cannot be cancelled once placed with suppliers

6. Intellectual Property

All designs, patterns, and artistic concepts created by Stained Glass Project Inc remain our intellectual property. Clients receive ownership of the physical piece but not the right to reproduce the design without written permission.

7. Warranties & Guarantees

7.1 Craftsmanship Warranty

• 10-year warranty on leading and structural integrity
• 5-year warranty on soldering and reinforcement
• Warranty covers defects in workmanship, not damage from improper handling or installation

7.2 Glass Materials

• Glass materials are guaranteed against manufacturing defects
• Natural variations in glass color and texture are not considered defects
• Glass breakage due to impact or improper handling is not covered

8. Installation Requirements

• Client must provide safe access to installation site
• Existing structures must be sound and capable of supporting stained glass
• Additional structural work may require separate contractors
• Installation may be rescheduled due to weather conditions for exterior work

9. Care & Maintenance

Proper care instructions will be provided with each installation. Stained glass requires periodic inspection and maintenance. We offer maintenance services but are not responsible for damage caused by improper care or neglect.

10. Website Usage

• Website content is for informational purposes only
• Images and designs are copyrighted and may not be reproduced
• We reserve the right to modify website content without notice
• User accounts may be terminated for abusive behavior

11. Limitation of Liability

Stained Glass Project Inc's liability is limited to the cost of services provided. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific project.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Melbourne, Victoria.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
